60s & 70s: Back on the Road is a 32-track double-LP compilation that brings together classic rock, pop, soul and psychedelic favourites from two of the greatest decades in popular music. - Hawkwind – Silver Machine — A driving, space-rock track and one of the most immediately distinctive recordings in the Hawkwind catalogue; its combination of a driving, synthesiser-led production and a driving, rhythmically confident energy gives it a sustained commercial appeal that gave the band their biggest hit. UK No. 3 (1972).
