Don't Turn Around (Remix) is a 12-inch single by Aswad — one of the UK's most respected reggae groups, from London — released in 1988 on CBS Records. Don't Turn Around reached UK No. 1 (1988), giving Aswad their first and only UK No. 1 single. The song was originally written by Albert Hammond and Diane Warren and first recorded by Tina Turner as a B-side in 1986. Aswad's version — a smooth, reggae-influenced pop recording — became one of the most commercially dominant recordings of 1988 and demonstrated the band's crossover appeal between reggae, pop and dance music. This 12-inch release features the extended remix alongside the album version and Woman as a B-side.
