Live Your Life Be Free is the fourth solo studio album by Belinda Carlisle, from Los Angeles, California — formerly lead singer of The Go-Go's — released in 1991 on Virgin Records. The album reached No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart. Live Your Life Be Free reached UK No. 12 (1991), Do You Feel Like I Feel? reached UK No. 29 (1991) and Half the World reached UK No. 31 (1991). The 11-track album demonstrates Carlisle's ability to combine polished pop-rock with uplifting melodies and emotional ballads, continuing her successful solo career into the early 1990s with a distinctive vocal that retained its power and commercial appeal beyond the Go-Go's origins.
