Love & Kisses is the debut studio album by Dannii Minogue, released in 1991 on Mushroom Records and produced primarily by Stock Aitken Waterman — the production trio responsible for defining the sound of British pop in the late 1980s and early 1990s through their work with Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Bananarama and dozens of others. Dannii had already established herself as a television personality in Australia through Home and Away before launching her music career, and the album's SAW-produced sound gave her immediate commercial credibility in the UK market. The album spawned four UK Top 10 singles — Love and Kisses, Success, Jump to the Beat and Baby Love — and demonstrated that Dannii's pop instincts and vocal personality were entirely her own, distinct from her sister Kylie's parallel career.
