I Remember Yesterday is the fifth studio album by Donna Summer — born LaDonna Adrian Gaines, from Boston, Massachusetts — released in May 1977 on Casablanca Records and produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte. The album reached No. 13 on the UK Albums Chart. I Feel Love reached UK No. 1 (1977) and is widely regarded as one of the most important electronic dance recordings ever made, pioneering the synth-driven sound that would influence decades of dance music. Love's Unkind reached UK No. 3 (1977). The 8-track album demonstrates Summer's incredible vocal range and the innovative electronic disco production of Moroder and Bellotte, giving her a position as one of the most culturally significant and commercially dominant dance artists of the 1970s.
