Touch is the third studio album by Eurythmics — Annie Lennox (vocals and keyboards) and Dave Stewart (guitar, keyboards and production) — released in November 1983 on RCA Records. Lennox, born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and Stewart, from Sunderland, County Durham, had formed Eurythmics in 1980 after the dissolution of The Tourists. Touch was their commercial breakthrough on the largest scale, debuting at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and establishing them as one of the most important and distinctive acts of the 1980s. Who's That Girl? reached UK No. 3, Here Comes the Rain Again reached UK No. 8 and US No. 4, and Right by Your Side reached UK No. 10. The album's nine tracks range from the driving pop of Right by Your Side and the atmospheric grandeur of Here Comes the Rain Again to the seven-and-a-half-minute experimental closer Paint a Rumour, demonstrating the full breadth of the duo's musical ambition and the extraordinary range of Lennox's voice.

- Paint a Rumour — The album's closing track and its most experimental and musically ambitious at seven and a half minutes; a slow-building, atmospheric electronic track that demonstrates the full range of Stewart's production imagination and gives Lennox the opportunity to deliver something completely unguarded and exploratory.
- No Fear, No Hate, No Pain (No Broken Hearts) — One of the album's most emotionally direct and lyrically ambitious tracks; a slow, atmospheric synth-pop song with a lyric of political and personal conviction that gives the album one of its most quietly powerful and ideologically committed moments.
