Released in 1987 on Telstar Records, Hit Mix – Non Stop Mix is a lavish double LP megamix compilation spread across four sides and featuring over 50 tracks in continuous non-stop format. Compiled at the height of the UK megamix craze, it blends pop, dance, house, electro, and disco in a relentless, party-ready flow — and uniquely includes two complete Jack Mix segments (Jack Mix II and Jack Mix IV) embedded within the programme, making it an essential companion piece for fans of the Mirage Jack Mix series. A brilliant time capsule of 1987 at its most exuberant.
Highlights Across the Four Sides
- Side A – Opens with Jody Watley's "Looking For a New Love" and builds through Hot Chocolate, Kim Wilde ("You Keep Me Hangin' On"), Whitney Houston ("I Wanna Dance With Somebody"), and the irresistible "Male Stripper" by Man 2 Man.
- Side B – Jack Mix II – The embedded Jack Mix II section features early house classics including Steve "Silk" Hurley's "Jack Your Body", "House Nation" by Housemaster Boyz, and "Do It Properly" by 2 Puerto Ricans, a Blackman and a Dominican.
