Released in 1981 on Columbia Records, Escape is Journey's seventh studio album and, quite simply, one of the greatest AOR records ever made. Produced by Kevin Elson and Mike Stone, it reached #1 in the US Albums Chart and has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. Featuring Steve Perry's extraordinary vocal performances alongside Neal Schon's melodic guitar work and Jonathan Cain's keyboard-driven arrangements, every track is a masterclass in arena rock songwriting.
