Queen Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by Queen — Freddie Mercury (vocals and piano), Brian May (guitar), Roger Taylor (drums) and John Deacon (bass) — originally released in October 1981 on EMI Records. This pressing is the 180 gram heavyweight double vinyl LP reissue, presenting the 17-track compilation across four sides. Greatest Hits is the best-selling album in UK chart history, with over 6 million copies sold in the UK alone, and has spent more weeks on the UK Albums Chart than any other album. The compilation spans Queen's most commercially dominant period from 1974 to 1981, including Bohemian Rhapsody — which reached UK No. 1 in 1975 and again in 1991 following Mercury's death — Somebody to Love (UK No. 2), We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions (UK No. 2), Don't Stop Me Now (UK No. 9), Killer Queen (UK No. 2), Crazy Little Thing Called Love (UK No. 2, US No. 1) and Another One Bites the Dust (US No. 1).
