Good Trouble is the ninth studio album by REO Speedwagon — Kevin Cronin (vocals and guitar), Gary Richrath (guitar), Neal Doughty (keyboards), Bruce Hall (bass) and Alan Gratzer (drums) — from Champaign, Illinois, released in 1982 on Epic Records and produced by Kevin Cronin and Gary Richrath. The album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, arriving on the back of the band's career-defining Hi Infidelity (1981) — one of the best-selling albums of that year — and demonstrating their ability to sustain commercial momentum at the peak of their popularity. Keep the Fire Burnin' reached US No. 7 and UK No. 19. Sweet Time reached US No. 26. The 10-track album balances driving arena rock cuts with the soaring melodic ballads that made REO Speedwagon one of the most commercially dominant American rock acts of the early 1980s.
