The Wild Heart is the second solo studio album by Stevie Nicks — born Stephanie Lynn Nicks, from Phoenix, Arizona, and member of Fleetwood Mac — released in June 1983 on Modern Records. The album reached US No. 6, following the success of her debut solo album Bella Donna (1981). Stand Back reached US No. 5 (1983), Nightbird reached US No. 33 (1983) and If Anyone Falls reached US No. 58 (1983). The 10-track album demonstrates Nicks' unmistakable vocals, poetic songwriting and signature blend of rock, pop and atmospheric melodies, with emotional performances, layered arrangements and the mystical storytelling that has made her a beloved figure in rock music.
