All This Time is a live album by Sting, recorded on 11 September 2001 at his Tuscan estate Il Palagio near Figline Valdarno, Italy, and released on A&M Records in November 2001. The concert had been planned as an intimate gathering of friends and musicians to mark the tenth anniversary of Sting's album The Soul Cages, and filming was already underway when news of the attacks on the World Trade Center reached the assembled guests. Sting and his band made the decision to continue playing, and the album — originally conceived as a private celebration — became an unintentional and deeply moving document of that day. The 17-track set draws on the full breadth of Sting's career, from The Police classics (Roxanne, Every Breath You Take, Don't Stand So Close to Me) through to his solo catalogue, and the intimate outdoor setting — with an audience of friends rather than a concert crowd — gives the performances a warmth and emotional directness that distinguishes this from a conventional live album. The album reached No. 3 in the UK.
