Bebop Moptop is the second studio album by Danny Wilson — Gary Clark (vocals and guitar), Kit Clark (guitar) and Ged Grimes (bass), from Dundee, Scotland — released in 1989 on Virgin Records. The Second Summer of Love reached UK No. 23 (1989) and Never Gonna Be the Same reached UK No. 45 (1989). The 13-track album demonstrates the band's sophisticated songwriting, rich harmonies and distinctive blend of pop, jazz influences and melodic arrangements, with elegant musicianship, thoughtful lyrics and polished production. The UK original vinyl pressing includes the classic glossy sleeve and printed inner sleeve with photos and credits.
