Def, Dumb & Blonde is the third solo studio album by Debbie Harry — born Deborah Ann Harry, from Miami, Florida, and lead singer of Blondie — released in October 1989 on Sire Records. The album reached UK No. 12. I Want That Man reached UK No. 13 (1989) and became the album's biggest hit. The 11-track album demonstrates Harry's distinctive vocals, stylish songwriting and ability to blend rock, pop, new wave and dance influences, combining catchy hooks, electronic production and guitar-driven rock elements while retaining the attitude and energy that made her famous as the lead singer of Blondie.
