On Through the Night is the debut studio album by Def Leppard — Joe Elliott (vocals), Rick Savage (bass), Rick Allen (drums), Steve Clark (guitar) and Pete Willis (guitar) — from Sheffield, England, released in March 1980 on Mercury Records. The album reached No. 15 on the UK Albums Chart and introduced the band's energetic guitar-driven sound as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement.
