Ice on Fire is the nineteenth studio album by Elton John — born Reginald Dwight, from Pinner, London — released in November 1985 on Geffen Records and produced by Gus Dudgeon. The album reached No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. Nikita reached UK No. 3 and US No. 7 (1985), while Wrap Her Up featured George Michael. The 10-track album marked Elton John's return to the pop spotlight, blending pop, rock and adult contemporary influences with his unmistakable piano-led songwriting style and distinctive vocals, giving him a continued position as one of the most commercially successful and celebrated singer-songwriters of all time.
