The film picks up immediately where Part 1 ended, with Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) racing to destroy the remaining Horcruxes before confronting Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in the climactic Battle of Hogwarts. The film grossed over $1.34 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2011 and the second highest-grossing film in the franchise's history.
