Greatest Hits is a 13-track compilation by The Human League — Philip Oakey (vocals), Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley (vocals), Ian Burden (bass and keyboards), Jo Callis (guitar and keyboards) and Neil Sutton (keyboards) — from Sheffield, released in 1988 on Virgin Records. The compilation spans the band's most commercially dominant period from 1981 to 1988 and includes three UK Top 3 singles and two US No. 1s. Don't You Want Me reached UK No. 1 and US No. 1 in 1981, spending five weeks at the top of the UK chart and becoming the Christmas No. 1. Human reached US No. 1 and UK No. 28 in 1986. Mirror Man reached UK No. 2, (Keep Feeling) Fascination reached UK No. 2, Love Action (I Believe in Love) reached UK No. 3 and Together in Electric Dreams — a collaboration between Giorgio Moroder and Philip Oakey — reached UK No. 3.
