Jennifer Rush is the self-titled debut studio album by Jennifer Rush — born Heidi Stern, from New York City — released in 1984 on CBS Records. The album reached UK No. 7. The Power of Love reached UK No. 1 (1985) and became one of the best-selling singles of the decade, Ring of Ice reached UK No. 12 (1984) and 25 Lovers reached UK No. 25 (1984). The 10-track album demonstrates Rush's incredible vocal range, emotional delivery and dramatic blend of pop, rock and adult contemporary styles, combining powerful ballads, polished production and soaring arrangements that became a defining sound of the decade.
