Jurassic World is the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise, released in 2015 and directed by Colin Trevorrow. Set 22 years after the events of the original film, Isla Nublar is now home to a fully operational dinosaur theme park attracting millions of visitors. When attendance begins to plateau, the park's geneticists create a new hybrid dinosaur — the Indominus Rex — to boost excitement. Inevitably, it escapes. Chris Pratt stars as velociraptor trainer Owen Grady alongside Bryce Dallas Howard as park operations manager Claire Dearing. The film became one of the highest-grossing films in history, earning over $1.67 billion worldwide and reigniting the franchise for a new generation. Spectacular, fast-paced and loaded with dinosaur action, it is a hugely entertaining blockbuster that looks superb on Blu-ray.
