Need for Speed is a high-octane action thriller released in 2014 and directed by Scott Waugh, inspired by the long-running Electronic Arts video game franchise. Starring Aaron Paul in his first major post-Breaking Bad film role, the story follows street racer Tobey Marshall, wrongly imprisoned after being framed by rival Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper). Upon release, Tobey embarks on a cross-country race to the legendary De Leon — the most dangerous underground race in America — to clear his name and exact revenge.
