Seven the Hard Way is the seventh studio album by Pat Benatar — born Patricia Andrzejewski, from Brooklyn, New York — released in October 1985 on Chrysalis Records. The album reached US No. 26 on the Billboard 200. Invincible (theme from The Legend of Billie Jean) reached US No. 10 (1985) and Sex as a Weapon reached US No. 13 (1985). The 9-track album captures Benatar and guitarist/husband Neil Giraldo at their creative peak, combining memorable hooks, dramatic arrangements and the unmistakable sound that earned Benatar a place among rock's most influential female performers.
