At the Speed of Sound is the fifth studio album by Paul McCartney & Wings — Paul McCartney (vocals and bass), Linda McCartney (keyboards and vocals), Denny Laine (guitar and vocals), Jimmy McCulloch (guitar and vocals) and Joe English (drums) — released in March 1976 on Capitol/EMI Records. The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. Silly Love Songs reached US No. 1 (1976) — McCartney's biggest post-Beatles hit and one of the most commercially dominant singles of the decade — and Let 'Em In reached US No. 3 and UK No. 2 (1976). The 11-track album is notable for featuring lead vocals from every member of Wings, giving it a diversity of vocal personalities and musical styles that distinguishes it from McCartney's more solo-focused albums.
