Seal is the self-titled debut studio album by Seal — born Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, from London, England — released in 1991 on ZTT Records, produced by Trevor Horn. The album reached UK No. 1. Killer reached UK No. 1 (1990), Crazy reached UK No. 4 and US No. 7 (1991) and Future Love Paradise reached UK No. 12 (1991). The 9-track album demonstrates Seal's unique blend of soul, pop, electronic and rock influences, with deep grooves, soulful melodies and innovative electronic sounds, combined with Horn's polished yet experimental production that highlights Seal's remarkable vocal range and artistic style.
