Slade Smashes is a 20-track compilation by Slade — Noddy Holder (vocals and guitar), Dave Hill (guitar), Jim Lea (bass) and Don Powell (drums) — from Wolverhampton, England, released in 1980 on RCA Records. The album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and brings together the band's biggest hits from their 1970s glam rock era. The compilation includes six UK No. 1 singles: Cum On Feel the Noize (1973), Mama Weer All Crazee Now (1972), Coz I Luv You (1971), Skweeze Me Pleeze Me (1973), Take Me Bak 'Ome (1972) and Merry Xmas Everybody (1973) — one of the most enduring Christmas recordings of all time. Gudbuy T'Jane reached UK No. 2 (1972).
