Everything is the third studio album by The Bangles — Susanna Hoffs (vocals and guitar), Vicki Peterson (guitar and vocals), Debbi Peterson (drums and vocals) and Michael Steele (bass and vocals) — from Los Angeles, California, released in October 1988 on CBS Records. The album reached US No. 33 on the Billboard 200. Eternal Flame reached UK No. 1 and US No. 1 (1989), becoming the band's biggest hit. In Your Room reached US No. 29 (1988). The 13-track album demonstrates The Bangles' distinctive blend of jangly guitars, rich harmonies and melodic songwriting, combining 1960s-inspired pop influences with the energy of modern 1980s rock.
