The Wanted is the debut studio album by The Wanted, released in October 2010 on Island Records. The group — Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes — had been assembled by manager Jayne Collins and signed to Island following an extensive audition process. Their debut single All Time Low entered the UK chart at No. 1 in July 2010, making them one of the few acts to debut at the top of the singles chart, and the album followed to considerable commercial success. Produced by a team including Steve Mac and Wayne Hector, the album is a confident and polished debut that showcases the group's vocal blend and their ability to deliver both uptempo pop tracks and more restrained ballads with equal conviction. The album established The Wanted as a genuine commercial force in British pop and set the stage for a run of further hit singles and albums over the following years.
