The collection spans the band's entire first decade — from the post-punk urgency of I Will Follow (1980) to the gospel-blues grandeur of All I Want Is You (1989) — and documents one of the most remarkable creative trajectories in rock history. Across 14 tracks, the compilation traces U2's evolution from the raw, political energy of War and October through the atmospheric, Eno-produced expanses of The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree to the blues and soul explorations of Rattle and Hum. Produced across the decade by Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Steve Lillywhite and Jimmy Iovine, the album sold over 10 million copies worldwide and remains the definitive introduction to U2's classic period. The compilation includes Sweetest Thing in its newly recorded single mix and When Love Comes to Town featuring B.B. King.
